The University of Hull is a public University located in the city of Kingston upon Hull in East Yorkshire. The University was founded in 1927, and the foundation stone was laid in 1928 by George VI, when the University opened its doors to just 39 students. The University of Hull has come a long way, as today it is one of the oldest and most respected universities in the UK, being a home to over 16,000 students- of which 2,000 are international, from over 100 nationalities.
